MetaMask wallet has shown to be quite effective, especially for use on the Binance Smart Chain and in decentralized finance (De-Fi) as a whole.
In this article, we will guide you by setting up a MetaMask wallet on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
STEP 1
Open the MetaMask wallet using your desktop or phone
Check if BSC Mainnet is on the list of available networks. If yes, proceed to step 4, if no continue from step 2
STEP 2
Configure Binance Smart Chain on your Metamask wallet.
Click on the top left menu icon and tap on Settings

Tap the Network enter the following information and save
Network name: Smart Chain
RPC Url: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
STEP 4
Next hit on Import Tokens
STEP 5
Copy and paste the tokens contract address which can be gotten from the projects website, Cornmarketcap or Coingecko and the other fills should auto fill and import
STEP 6
Go back to the homepage of your Metamask wallet and the token and its value should be displayed
Congrats you have successfully imported your custom token into your Metamask wallet
